We are seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead large or multiple project efforts, which may involve subcontractors, high‑value material content, and multiple resources. Your responsibilities will include management and coordination of the design, procurement, implementation, and commissioning phases of projects; ensuring commercial, financial, and technical success; leading proposal development; vetting cost estimates and aligning the team with client goals to exceed expectations and profitability.

As a Project Manager, You Will:- Lead Proposal Development – Participate in proposal scope, schedule, and cost estimates, and project management methodology and pricing structure. Prepare for successful handoff from Business Development.
- Manage Client Communication – Ensure effective communication between client, project team, Business Development, and management. Resolve scope, schedule, and cost issues as they arise.
- Project Schedule and Plan – Develop the labor resource plan and procurement plan to meet client schedule objectives and cash flow requirements.
- Drive Scope – Maintain control of scope and compliance with specifications and contract requirements. Communicate scope clearly and proactively obtain Change Orders and develop additional scope opportunities.
- Maintain Cost – Develop and maintain project cost budgets and reports; manage estimated cost at completion, earned value, and contingency. Forecast monthly project costs to avoid overruns.
- Lead the Project Team – Guide the team to achieve project tasks and milestones on schedule and under budget. Coordinate with Operations to assign optimal resources. Communicate progress to team and client and advocate for the project team. Identify risks early and mobilize resources to mitigate them.
- Serve as an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.
- BS Engineering degree or equivalent education/experience background
- 4+ years of experience with PLC/SCADA development
- 4+ years of experience managing control systems projects cradle to grave
- 5+ years in a project engineering environment with at least 3 years of dedicated project management experience
- DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork
- Proficiency in utilizing project management principles, methods, and tools
- Ability to implement Project Management Institute (PMI) based standards
- The ability to use technology to lead geographically dispersed project teams
- Experience managing contracts and/or subcontractors
- Familiarity with industrial controls projects
- Experience with project budget/fiscal accountability
- Willingness to travel 25‑30% to support on‑site project activities
- Controls Engineering background
- Experience with true design projects (EOR)
- Experience with Project Management Institute (PMI) based standards
- Experience using project management software such as MS Project
- Food and Beverage experience a PLUS
- Experience managing control system, HMI, plant data historian, and other industrial projects

Salary Range – $120,000 - $160,000
