Shift: Mon - Fri 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, rotating Saturday
Pay rate: $20.00 - $24.00/hr. on W2

Position Summary

The Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the company, interacting directly with patients who visit for routine health services or important diagnostic testing. This role is responsible for collecting quality blood specimens, preparing samples for laboratory testing, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with established procedures. The PSR I builds trust and confidence by explaining procedures clearly and performing specimen collection in a safe, skillful, and professional manner.

This position requires strong attention to confidentiality, accuracy, leadership behaviors, and commitment to process excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily activities accurately and in a timely manner under the direction of the area supervisor.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment.
  • Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing according to established procedures.
  • Ensure proper preparation and handling of laboratory specimens.
  • Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
  • Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public.
  • Provide excellent patient care while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Job Requirements
  • Ability to deliver high-quality, error‑free work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal on‑site supervision.
  • Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and on‑call shifts based on staffing needs.
  • Strong data entry and keyboarding skills.
Required Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training (preferred).
  • Phlebotomy certification (preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Work Experience
  • Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience (required).
  • One or more years of phlebotomy experience (preferred).
  • Customer service experience in a retail or service environment (preferred).
  • Data entry experience (required).
