A Taste Of What You’ll Do

As a Compensation professional, you will play a key role in helping the organization attract, motivate, develop, and retain a high-performing workforce through competitive and equitable compensation programs. You will serve as a trusted consultant to HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders, providing guidance on compensation strategies, job evaluations, market pricing, pay structures, and incentive programs.

In this role, you will analyze compensation data, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights that support informed business decisions. You will partner closely with Talent Acquisition to ensure offers are competitive, aligned to market conditions, and internally equitable. You will also collaborate with HR, Finance, Organizational Development, and Employee Relations teams to support organizational changes, job architecture initiatives, and ongoing compensation needs.

You will contribute to annual compensation planning, promotion cycles, equity reviews, salary survey participation, and regulatory compliance efforts. Leveraging technology, analytics, automation, and emerging AI-enabled solutions, you will help improve process efficiency, data quality, reporting capabilities, and the employee experience.

This role offers the opportunity to influence compensation strategy, drive process improvements, and support innovative solutions that enhance the effectiveness and scalability of compensation programs across the business.

What You’ll Need
  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of Compensation or total rewards experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of compensation or Total Rewards Experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of Gallo HR experience to include 3 years of compensation or total rewards experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong analytical and complex problem solving skills; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
  • Detail driven individual with emphasis on accuracy, coupled with ability to see the broader picture and summarize complex data.
  • Knows and applies a broad working knowledge of compensation principles, practices and procedures.
  • Responsible for working with highly sensitive and confidential information and maintaining the confidentiality of the information used during the normal course of business.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Skilled in juggling multiple tasks while still delivering high quality results.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer skill requirements include: intermediate MS Word, MS Excel and database; basic MS PowerPoint.
  • Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
  • Required to be 18 years or older.
How You’ll Stand Out
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, or Human Resources plus 7 years of Compensation or Total rewards experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; consulting experience working for a major consulting house/firm.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP); experienced in Lean Six Sigma problem solving
