Summary

/ Objective

Yosemite Pathology Medical Group (YPMG) is seeking a highly motivated EDI Specialist with strong scripting and automation skills. This role sits at the intersection of healthcare data exchange, workflow optimization, and hands‑on technical problem‑solving. Taming HL7 files, debugging stubborn integrations, and automating anything that moves (or refuses to), will fill your day.

You’ll work closely with IT leadership to design, maintain, and enhance the data pipelines connecting Orchard Harvest, Xifin, hospitals, imaging systems, and internal tools. The ideal candidate blends classic EDI knowledge with modern scripting chops.

  • Develop modular components to support new interface scenarios or evolving business processes.
  • Maintain strict versioning and "no surprises" development standards.
API Integration
  • Work with REST APIs for Xifin, Orchard Harvest, and internal systems.
  • Rehydrate and submit full‑schema API payloads using GET → hydrate → modify → PUT/POST patterns.
  • Build scalable interfaces capable of processing high‑volume clinical data.
  • Handle authentication, session management, and structured logging.
System Monitoring & Workflow Support
  • Maintain automated workflows for handling accession errors, moving files between staging and production directories, and controlling intake pipelines.

  • Preferred experience building or supporting healthcare interfaces (Mirth, Rhapsody, Cloverleaf, etc.)
  • Strong Python skills with experience in file parsing, REST API interaction, and automation with preferred knowledge of AD/Entra workflows and identity automation
  • Proficiency in Power Shell and Windows automation
