Role Description The Infrastructure Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Modesto, CA. This role oversees the design, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and related systems. The Infrastructure Manager will manage system performance, implement security and backup strategies, coordinate upgrades, and ensure high availability for business-critical applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring infrastructure health, troubleshooting issues, working with vendors and service providers, and documenting standards and procedures.
The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading infrastructure projects, and guiding best practices to support growth and operational reliability.
Qualifications
- Strong infrastructure management skills, including experience with servers, networking, storage, and cloud environments
- Proficiency in system administration, monitoring tools, backup and recovery solutions, and security controls
- Knowledge of IT governance, change management, and documentation of policies, standards, and procedures
- Ability to manage vendors, negotiate service agreements, and coordinate hardware and software procurement
- Experience leading technical projects, prioritizing tasks, and delivering solutions on time and within budget
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Previous experience in an Infrastructure Manager or similar senior IT role is strongly preferred
- Familiarity with the needs of manufacturing, logistics, or apparel industries is a plus
