Computer Aided Design Drafter

💰 $57K - $70K Compensation Range annually

This role is for someone who loves clean drawings, clear standards, and seeing their work turn into real fabricated parts.

We are hiring a Drafting Detailer to support a fast‑paced fabrication and manufacturing operation where accuracy, consistency, and teamwork matter. This position exists to centralize drafting and detailing work so Project Managers can focus on execution, and the shop can move faster with confidence.

• Creating fabrication ready drawings using AutoCAD and or Solid Works
• Producing detailed shop and machine shop drawings
• Preparing material takeoffs for fabrication
• Supporting drawing revisions throughout the project lifecycle
• Working closely with Project Managers and shop personnel
• Helping standardize drawings and documentation
• Maintaining clean files and revision control

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and or Solid Works
• Experience creating fabrication ready drawings
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfort working in a structured technical environment
• Two or more years of drafting or detailing experience preferred
• Open to junior to mid‑level candidates who want to grow
• Collaborative mindset and openness to feedback

• Monday through Friday 40 hours
• Casual shop appropriate environment
• Annual boot allowance provided
