Employnet is seeking a Maintenance Manager for an almond processing facility in Modesto, CA. This is a hands‑on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily maintenance operations, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring production equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily maintenance operations within the facility
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Coordinate repairs and minimize equipment downtime
• Supervise and support maintenance personnel as needed
• Maintain maintenance records, work orders, and parts inventory
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and food production standards
• Work closely with production teams to support operational goals

Qualifications:

• 1-5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, food processing, agriculture, or related industry
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Knowledge of industrial maintenance practices and troubleshooting
• Experience working with conveyors, motors, pumps, and processing equipment
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in almond, nut, or food processing industry
• PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus
• Familiarity with GMP and food safety standards preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a production environment with varying temperatures and dust conditions
