Packaging Engineer, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
This person will be the Subject Matter Expert for the Packaging area. This job will oversee all aspects of the packaging and labeling operations with a goal of maximizing throughput. Employee will be responsible to train new or job transfer employees into packaging department. Work with supervisor implementing and coaching TPM systems. The candidate will need to have the expertise to operate labelers, packaging equipment and shrink wrap machines and ensure all equipment is operating efficiently.
This includes proper labeling of cans, assuring product is packaged in the proper container and that all are sealed properly. Ensure that codes are correct and legible and, if applicable, the case or package is wrapped securely. Maintains record, including overtime, as required. Employees shall follow all the plant safety and quality rules, report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately and maintain compliance with regulations.
Responsibilities
Must have a basic understanding of computers in order to operate equipment and to perform SAP transactions and Apps on tablets.

Compensation and BenefitsThe approximate hourly pay for this position is $25.35.
