Job Overview
As a Production Technician, you operate equipment to manufacture plastic containers for leading consumer brands in a clean, food‑grade and climate‑controlled facility. You will work in a safe environment and support our commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Operate a variety of top‑of‑the‑line injection, extrusion or blow‑molding manufacturing equipment.
- Monitor equipment and make adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high‑quality rigid plastic containers.
- Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Perform quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights and dimensions, to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Collaborate with team members to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality and scrap reduction.
- Engage in formal and side‑by‑side training, with opportunities for career advancement.
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician in high‑volume production.
- Working knowledge of injection, extrusion or blow‑molding equipment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. individually and up to 70 lbs. with a team lift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Monday through Friday on 2nd or 3rd shift and weekends as needed.
Compensation & Benefits- Base pay of $21.00 per hour, up to $26.25 per hour with shift differentials ($0.75 for 2nd shift, $1.25 for night shift).
