Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, Family Medicine Residency Program

Opportunity

Sutter Medical Group welcomes new graduate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our Family Medicine Residency Program 2027 Cohorts (April & July). Participants will gain hands‑on experience in a supportive environment, mentored by experienced clinicians to build confidence in Family Medicine. They will deliver comprehensive patient‑centered care and strengthen their clinical expertise. This is a full‑time, 40‑hour per week, one‑year commitment.

• Provide patient‑centered care under supervision of senior clinicians.
• Collaborate with team to develop clinical skills and improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in educational activities and mentorship programs.
• Maintain high standards of professionalism and lifelong learning.

• Graduate of an ARC‑PA accredited Physician Assistant program or a graduate‑level Family Nurse Practitioner program meeting California Board standards.
• Active, unrestricted license to practice in California as PA or NP by start date.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and commitment to lifelong learning.
• New graduate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant preferred.
