Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse in Modesto, California. This position involves assessing, planning, and delivering direct clinical care to patients in the labor and delivery unit. The role includes supervising staff, supporting high‑quality nursing care, and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. The assignment duration is 13 weeks, with a start date of 07/20/2026, working day shifts.

• Shift: Days, 12 hours per shift
• Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Required Qualifications:
  
  Valid California Registered Nurse license; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; minimum of 0 years experience in Labor and Delivery Nursing; located in or willing to commute to Modesto, CA
• Preferred Qualifications:
  
  Knowledge of patient ratios of 3:1 for Step‑down and 4:1 for Telemetry; experience supervising clinical staff; ability to work independently and support facility leadership
• Additional Information:
  The nurse will be responsible for supervising staff, ensuring nursing care compliance with hospital policies, supporting the CNO (Chief Nursing Officer), and maintaining high standards of clinical practice. The onboarding location is accessible with own parking; do not use hospital parking. The facility is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
