RN Shift Manager (RN) - Behavioral Health

Nursing Assistant

Reporting to the Shift Manager of the assigned area, the Nursing Assistant performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse. Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice.

Minimum Education:

High School graduate preferred

Minimum Experience/

Skills:

3 months skilled nursing or hospital experience preferred

License/Certificates/Credentials:
Current BLS certification, Certified Nursing Assistant certification required or current 2nd semester nursing student when hired or transferred into position.

Physical Demands:
Prolonged, extensive or considerable standing/walking Lift/position up to 50 lbs. Push/pull up to 50 lbs of force Frequent reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching Manual dexterity and mobility Ability to move quickly
