Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Seeking a qualified Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery to provide exceptional patient care during critical obstetric events. Responsible for supporting mothers throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ conditions and develop individualized care plans for labor and delivery processes.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs to ensure safety during labor.
• Administer medications and assist with interventions such as epidurals and Cesarean sections.
• Educate patients and families on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and breastfeeding.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and manage emergencies effectively.
• Document all clinical observations, interventions, and patient responses accurately in medical records.

Qualifications:

• Hold a current CA RN license with valid AHA or ARC certifications (BLS, ACLS, NRP).
• Demonstrate at least 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery experience.
• Complete and upload all required certifications and licensure documentation within the specified timeframe.
• Possess strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond swiftly in emergency situations.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and compassionate patient care approach.
