Registered Nurse – ICU

ICU Nurse

The ICU Nurse provides specialized care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. They are responsible for delivering holistic nursing care, assessing patient conditions, and coordinating treatment plans to promote optimal recovery.

Responsibilities:

• Assess critically ill patients and develop individualized plans of care.
• Implement and monitor medical treatments and interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and families to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families on condition management and post-discharge care.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA RN Licensure must be uploaded through Nursys within the last 2 weeks.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications current within 180 days of hire.
• TNCC certification within 180 days of hire.
• NIHSS certification within 90 days.
• At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Ability to work every other Saturday and Sunday, with holiday coverage as needed.
