Job Summary:
Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Specialist opportunity located in California. This role involves caring for a diverse patient population including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The PACU nurse will be responsible for providing recovery care following surgical procedures, managing patient airway, vital signs, and postoperative assessments in a fast-paced environment.

ACLS, BLS, CCRN (Cardiac Care Registered Nurse), NIHSS, PALS - Education and Experience:
Valid California Registered Nurse license, minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU or related critical care setting, 0 years minimum experience as specified - Schedule:
12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, start date on 09/01/2026, Monday through Sunday with variable start times between on Fridays and 0700 on weekends - Patient Ratios: 2 patients per shift during days, nights, and weekends
- Additional Unit Details:
Supports wide range of surgical recovery procedures including TAVR, TEER, LAAO, orthopedic, and bariatric surgeries. Equipment includes ON-Q pumps - Required Qualifications:
Active CA RN license, ACLS, BLS, CCRN, NIHSS, PALS certifications, a minimum of 2 years relevant experience, and experience with charting systems such as Epic - Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center, community hospital setting, or LTAC experience - Additional Information:
Successful candidates must complete labs within 3-5 days of contract signing, provide 7-year work history verification, and hold two recent references. Candidate must be able to start on the specified date with adherence to onboarding and compliance deadlines.
