Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Job Summary:

The Telemetry Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment. They collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions and continuously monitor cardiac rhythms to identify any abnormalities.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with medical orders and hospital protocols.
• Document patient responses and update medical records accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and modify care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and implement lifesaving interventions as needed.

Qualifications:

• Valid California RN license uploaded within the last 2 weeks via Nursys.
• Current AHA or ARC BLS and ACLS certifications with valid expiration dates.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac/telemetry nursing required.
• Ability to interpret complex cardiac monitor readings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry equipment and related technology.
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
