Registered Nurse ICU

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for critically ill patients. This role involves delivering holistic nursing support, assessing patient needs, and coordinating care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ conditions and develop personalized care plans addressing physical, psychological, and social factors.
• Deliver direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and managing medical equipment.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment options, recovery processes, and post-discharge care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless communication and effective treatment delivery.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, legal standards, and industry best practices.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Valid CA RN licensure with current Nursys verification.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications current within applicable time frames.
• TNCC certification within 180 days of hire; NIHSS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work 3x12 hour day shifts, including weekends and holidays.
