About This Role

The Staff Nurse II is a professional caregiver responsible for a group of patients, providing comprehensive care through the nursing process and collaboration with the healthcare team. This role is ideal for experienced nurses looking to work in a dynamic environment.

• Pay: $112 - $133/hour
• Location: Modesto, CA
• Facility: Modesto Medical Center
• Schedule: Call-in/On-Call

• Perform assessment/data collection focusing on various patient statuses.
• Formulate goal-directed plans of care.
• Implement care in a thorough and consistent manner.
• Establish priorities based on patient needs and available resources.
• Identify and address patient/family learning needs.
• Demonstrate awareness of patient/family rights and cultural beliefs.
• Provide and coordinate care for patients/patient populations.
• Establish effective working relationships with healthcare team members.
• Evaluate effectiveness of care provided by the healthcare team.
• Participate in nursing research activities as requested.

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• Experience: 1 year recent experience in a cardiac cath lab
• Licenses &
  
  Certifications:
  
  Registered Nurse License (California)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• ACLS and PALS may be required based on patient population
