Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and reliable Landscape Maintenance Laborer to join our team. Working as part of a two-person crew under the supervision of a Foreman, you will be responsible for performing routine landscape maintenance tasks at commercial properties to ensure our clients' properties remain healthy and aesthetically pleasing. Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain ride-on and push mowers for lawn care.
• Use pruning equipment to trim and shape trees, shrubs, and hedges.
• Apply herbicides and fertilizers in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Perform minor irrigation system repairs, including fixing leaks, replacing sprinkler heads, and troubleshooting basic system issues.
• Assist with irrigation controller programming (experience is a plus).
• Operate blowers, weed eaters, and hedge trimmers for general landscape upkeep.
• Remove weeds, debris, and other unwanted materials from landscapes.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards while performing all tasks.
• Communicate effectively with the Foreman and other team members to ensure efficient job completion.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in landscape maintenance is required, commercial work a plus.
• Proficiency in operating mowers, blowers, weed eaters, hedge trimmers, and pruning tools.
• Knowledge of herbicide and fertilizer application best practices.
• Basic understanding of irrigation systems and ability to perform minor repairs.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physical labor.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Valid driver's license is a plus but not required.

Education: High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Location: Modesto, CA.
Pay Rate: Competitive pay based on experience ($18 - $21 per hour).
