Small Animal Veterinarian

This is a full-time on-site role for a Small Animal Veterinarian located in Patterson and Newman, CA. In this role, you will provide high-quality medical, surgical, and diagnostic services for small animal patients. Responsibilities include examining, diagnosing, and treating a wide variety of conditions in pets, providing preventative care, communicating with pet owners about treatment plans and follow-ups, and maintaining accurate medical records.

Collaboration with the veterinary team to ensure the best outcomes for patients is a key aspect of the role.

• Proficiency in veterinary medicine, including diagnosing and treating medical conditions in small animals
• Surgical and diagnostic skills, including the ability to perform routine procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
• Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated with the latest advancements in veterinary care
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and provide compassionate care
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or VMD) degree and a valid veterinary license in the state of California
• Preferred experience in a clinical setting handling small animal cases
