EHS Manager AS

A leading food & beverage manufacturing organization is looking to add an Environmental, Health and Safety Manager to its Modesto, California area facility. This person will be tasked with leading site-wide EHS programs to support safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible operations. The role partners closely with plant leadership to build a strong safety culture and drive progress toward zero injuries and world‑class performance.

• Lead and manage environmental, health, safety, and sustainability programs across the facility
• Own site environmental systems, including air, wastewater, waste management, permitting, and regulatory agency interactions
• Drive workplace safety initiatives through training, audits, inspections, and incident investigations
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and local environmental and safety regulations and complete all required reporting
• Facilitate safety committees and support corrective and preventive action planning across operations
• Lead and mentor a team of EHS professionals

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field
• Minimum of five years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS environment; CSP preferred
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations
• Proven ability to interpret regulations and apply them effectively within plant operations
• Strong communication skills with experience conducting risk assessments, audits, and regulatory reporting
