All Purpose Clerk - 415 Paradise Rd., Modesto, CA 95351
Responsibilities- Promote sales within assigned department (Center Store, Produce, Meat/Seafood, Bakery/Deli, or Janitorial).
- Answer customers’ questions and respond to product requests.
- Place and process special orders accurately.
- Practice safe food‑handling procedures and maintain a clean, hazard‑free work area.
- Receive, inspect, log, stock, rotate, and merchandise products to maintain freshness and department appeal.
- Excellent customer service and communication (verbal and written) skills.
- Sense of urgency, self‑motivation, proactiveness, initiative, enthusiasm, and flexibility.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to work varied retail hours.
- Physical ability to stand frequently, lift up to 40 lbs. without assistance.
Hiring pay range: $16.90 – $21.25 per hour.
