The Meat Clerk ensures that customers’ needs are met and exceeded by delivering remarkable customer service and providing customers with exceptional product knowledge, efficient service, and a friendly attitude. The Meat Clerk performs tasks to support the Meat department, including greeting and assisting customers, promoting sales, preparing, packaging, labeling, merchandising products, maintaining department standards, and handling customer requests and special orders.

All products are handled in a safe, sanitary manner and department areas and equipment are kept clean.

• Greet and assist customers with questions and product information.
• Promote sales within the Meat department.
• Prepare, package, label, and merchandise products according to department standards.
• Maintain department cleanliness and safety; follow safe food handling procedures.
• Assist with customer requests and special orders as needed.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to provide excellent customer service.
• Strong team player with a willingness and desire to learn, work hard, and have fun.
• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.

Hiring pay range: $17.15 - $26.50
