You will lead sales and athlete engagement within Footwear and Apparel by coaching teams to deliver expert service and product knowledge. You will drive performance through strong leadership and a focus on helping athletes find the right products for performance and everyday needs. Job Duties & Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and execute full-year business growth plans, including forecasting and 90+ day planning.
- Directly manage a team of Captains (Supervisors) and indirectly influence the broader store team through coaching and development. Accountable for performance management, annual reviews, and promotional recommendations for the Captain team.
- Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards by ensuring compliant execution of floor sets, signage, pricing, inventory presentation, and replenishment standards.
- Promote, drive, and lead company programs such as customer loyalty participation, warranty sales, and private label credit card enrollment.
- Act as a role model for service, selling, and leadership behaviors that elevate the athlete experience.
- Lead, execute, and validate key training initiatives and ensure all teammates are trained to deliver elevated athlete experiences.
- Partner with the Store Manager on long‑range workforce management and approve Captain staffing plans.
- Oversee payroll and staff scheduling to align with budget goals and adapt to athlete traffic and sales trends.
- Hire and build strong teams by creating targeted hiring strategies, actively sourcing, recruiting, and interviewing potential teammates, and owning hiring and termination decisions for the hourly population.
- Hold teammates accountable for meeting operational guidelines, brand standards, customer service expectations, and company policies. Ensure store safety, standards, and operational procedures are upheld.

Targeted Pay Range: $60,000.00 – $84,000.00. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as incentive, equity, and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
