Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a territory sales plan to meet or exceed assigned sales goals.
- Prospect and cultivate new customer relationships within the assigned region or vertical market.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers through regular visits, solution-based selling, and follow-up.
- Collaborate with internal product specialists and vendors to design and deliver customized control and automation solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to decision-makers and engineering teams.
- Stay up-to-date on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities using CRM software.
- Provide input on market and customer feedback to sales leadership and product management.
- 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation, process control, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of valves, instrumentation, flow control, and automation products.
- Proven ability to manage a sales territory and meet/exceed quotas.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
