The Commission Sales Associate (Outside Sales) is a full-time role based in Modesto, CA. This position is responsible for prospecting and generating new roofing business through door-to-door outreach, site visits, local networking, and follow-up on leads. Day-to-day tasks include conducting in-person sales presentations, explaining roofing services and product options, preparing basic estimates with the support of the operations team, and guiding customers through the decision-making process.

The role also involves building and maintaining strong relationships with homeowners, responding to inquiries, resolving concerns, and providing consistent, professional customer service. The associate will track sales activities, meet individual sales targets, collaborate with project managers and crews, and represent A+ Roofing Services at community events or industry functions as needed.

• Strong sales and presentation abilities, including experience with Sales Presentations and explaining service offerings in person.
• Proven relationship-building skills for maintaining long-term customer and referral partnerships.
• Customer service and communication skills to handle inquiries, address issues, and provide clear, professional updates.
• New business development experience, including prospecting, canvassing, and converting leads into closed sales.
• Motivated by commission-based compensation, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Comfort working outdoors and traveling locally within the Modesto, CA area; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and use basic digital tools (smartphone, email, CRM or spreadsheets) to organize leads and follow-ups.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in roofing, construction, home improvement, or field sales is beneficial but not required.
