Job Summary
The Golf Course Mechanic is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of small engines, such as oil changes and filter changes
- Maintain accurate information and reports of services
- Perform minor maintenance and repairs on hydraulic and electric components of equipment
- Perform various tasks associated with maintaining properly performing cutting units, including adjusting heights and minor reel adjustments
- Regular equipment relocation via truck and trailer within the region
- Ensure that all equipment operates efficiently and safely at all times
Education And Experience
- Strong work ethic
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Demands/Requirements
- Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
- Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Repetitive movement- standing, walking, twisting, turning, bending, squatting, and stooping
Work Environment
- Indoor work environment with occasional exposure to outside weather conditions, including sun, rain, and cold.
Compensation Pay Range
24 - 26
