Maintenance Technician II with Housing

This position is for a full‑time Maintenance Technician II with Housing to work at Archway Commons I and II, 150‑unit affordable family and senior housing communities in Modesto, CA. These are tax credit properties. The role requires experience in apartment maintenance and skills in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance.

• All facets of lock and key replacement/repair, including weather stripping, and door and window functioning.
• Perform all interior repairs related to walls and doors.
• Electrical repairs including fixtures, lights, plugs and switches.
• Change AC filters, check coils, clean and repair when necessary.
• Perform annual unit inspections.
• Ensure turnover of units in five days.

• 2+ years of related apartment maintenance experience.
• Knowledge and skills in plumbing, electrical and general maintenance.
• Clean driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• HVAC certification is a plus.

Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, clean driving record, basic computer skills;
Yardi Voyager experience is a plus.

Salary range: $16.68–$26.88 per hour; hiring range for new employees is generally $16.68–$21.78 per hour, DOE.
