Field Service Technician

Job Summary

• Safe operation of a company vehicle in compliance with all state and federal DOT laws.
• Follow established safety procedures.
• Complete scheduled service orders daily.
• Perform complete equipment diagnostics, installation or removal on residential and commercial water treatment equipment, identify malfunctions, and resolve issues accordingly.
• Represent Culligan with direct interaction with customers. Communicate the status of equipment with customers and provide solutions.
• Collect payments upon completion of services. Assist with collection of past due receivables.

This position will be based in the Modesto, CA office with occasional travel to area Culligan branches on an as needed basis.

• Appropriate, valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of the city area where you would be working.
• Must be available to work Tuesday through Saturday.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal/written).
• Minimum one year of plumbing experience.
• Subject to a DOT physical, a drug screen and a background check in accordance with state and federal laws.

• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Drive for extended periods (2-3 hours).
• Kneel/bend for extended periods of time.
