Maintenance Mechanic

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Mechanic to handle the installation, diagnostics, upkeep, and repair of our facility systems and machinery. You will play a vital role in ensuring our production equipment runs reliably and safely by executing preventative maintenance and addressing repairs promptly. The right person for this position will demonstrate keen attention to detail, a practical approach to problem-solving, and a high level of mechanical proficiency.

Previous experience with forklift maintenance is considered an advantage

• Handle the installation, assembly, and ongoing repair of various mechanical systems and industrial equipment.
• Improve overall operational efficiency by performing routine preventative maintenance and resolving mechanical malfunctions.
• Carry out systematic testing and inspections to ensure machinery remains in peak condition.
• Create and manage comprehensive schedules for equipment servicing and preventative maintenance tasks.
• Utilize technical manuals and operating instructions to guide your maintenance work.
• Replace, clean, and install necessary components to keep equipment functioning correctly.
• Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialized maintenance gear with a focus on safety.
• Proactively identify mechanical risks to help minimize equipment downtime and production delays.
• Help maintain a safe working environment for the entire team by keeping the maintenance area orderly.
• Adhere strictly to all environmental, health, and safety protocols established by the company.
• Complete various facility and building maintenance tasks as requested.
• Assist with additional maintenance projects and departmental initiatives as required.

• Possession of a GED or high school diploma is mandatory.
• At least two years of professional experience working as an industrial or maintenance mechanic.
• Completion of vocational or trade school programs is viewed favorably.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Proven ability to safely operate a wide range of power and hand tools.
• Capacity to interpret technical documentation and equipment manuals.
• Proficiency with computer systems and software used for maintenance management.
• Physical capability to perform manual labor and hands‑on maintenance tasks.
• Strong analytical skills to help solve complex mechanical problems.
• Comprehensive understanding of standard industrial safety regulations.
• Prior experience with the maintenance or repair of forklifts is a plus.
