The First Tactical Inventory Control Associate supports warehouse inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts, audits, and inventory transactions, researching variances, and preparing inventory reports. This role follows established procedures and works closely with warehouse teams to maintain accurate product availability and inventory records.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Conduct regular inventory audits to verify accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Perform cycle counts and support physical inventory counts as scheduled
- Enter, review, and validate inventory transactions in the inventory management system as assigned
- Investigate inventory discrepancies by reviewing system data and physical inventory; document findings and elevate unresolved issues
- Coordinate with warehouse and shipping teams to support smooth inventory flow
- Assist with inventory improvement initiatives as directed
- Prepare and distribute inventory reports and count/variance summaries using Microsoft Excel and inventory software
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in inventory control or related field
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data accurately
- Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong problem‑solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team‑oriented environment
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
- Working inside a warehouse
- Squatting, twisting, bending, carrying, and lifting between 10–50 lbs
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle and feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Stand for prolonged periods of time
- Repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including use of a computer keyboard
