Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Services

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to be responsible for preparing, revising, and maintaining engineering drawings and design documentation supporting natural gas transmission, distribution, storage, compression, and related infrastructure projects. Working closely with engineers, designers, and team leads, this role develops accurate and high-quality drawings that support engineering design, construction, operations, and asset management activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong drafting and CAD skills, attention to detail, and experience producing technical drawings in support of utility, pipeline, energy, or industrial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and revise engineering drawings based on engineering direction and project requirements.
• Develop detailed piping layouts by generating sections, elevations, and construction drawings from 3D models.
• Interpret engineering sketches, markups, specifications, and design calculations to create accurate drawing packages.
• Support development of permit drawings, construction drawings, and record documentation.
• Maintain drawing databases, templates, styles, and drafting standards.
• Perform thorough quality control reviews to ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards.
• Utilize Bluebeam Revu for efficient document markup, review, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with engineers, clients, vendors, project stakeholders, and field teams.

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree or formal training in Drafting, or a related technical field required. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
• 0-4 years of experience.
• Title and level will be commensurate with experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and/or CADWorx is a plus.
• Experience in preparing and understanding single detail drawings using AutoCAD.
• Ability to identify design conflicts and propose practical resolutions.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and maintain accuracy with minimal supervision.
