Desktop Support Analyst

Description

We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Mokena, Illinois. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support to a diverse user base, ranging from executives to plant-floor employees. This is a long-term contract position offering opportunities to travel to multiple facilities and gain training on specialized equipment like Zebra scanners and printers.

Responsibilities:

- Deliver technical support services to ensure smooth operation of hardware and software systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10, Active Directory, and other systems.

- Configure and set up Zebra scanners, printers, and RF-SMART devices following training.

- Manage and prioritize help desk tickets using a ticketing system to address user requests effectively.

- Communicate professionally with all levels of staff, from executives to plant-floor employees.

- Collaborate with a team of 4-5 service desk professionals to ensure seamless IT operations.

- Perform on-site support at various facilities after plant system go-live.

- Provide guidance to users on best practices for utilizing IT resources.

- Ensure all equipment is functional by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.

- Lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years' experience in a service desk or desktop support role.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Active Directory.

- Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving IT-related issues.

- Familiarity with RF scanners and RF-SMART systems.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills across all organizational levels.

- Ability to navigate and utilize ticketing systems efficiently.

- Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
