Production Expeditor III

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain accurate records of machine picks, jobs, and orders to ensure that all are on the production floor and accompanied by the correct paperwork to reflect the correct cell/bay required for each job.
• Communicate with Sourcing, Production, Inventory Control and Order Fulfillment about any material issues that may arise through the course of material picks, production and/or shipment that could potentially cause a demand not being met.
• Ensure all blue sheets are transacted for closing of machines being shipped for the month.
• Support production through the manufacturing process as required while also being capable of pulling back parts from Production to satisfy critical demand by manually reallocating demand by reserving through People Soft.
• Provide guidance and support daily for Production Expeditor I and II positions as well as train and cross‑train Material Handlers on the Production Expeditor I and II roles.
• Adjust inventory, shipping methods to accommodate customer deadlines and labor to accommodate pick schedules.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 6 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• 6 years of experience within an MRP and/or People Soft environment.
• 4 years of experience in a Lean manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with leadership to analyze/implement policies and make calculated decisions in relation to said policies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, whether through verbal or electronic form.

$31 - $38 per hour.
