Equipment Yard Associate (Temp-to-Hire)

Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM No Weekends

We are a construction equipment sales and rental company serving the public works, sewer, water, utility, and heavy civil construction industries. Our team works with specialized rental equipment every day, including:

• Trench boxes
• Hydraulic shoring systems
• Steel road plates
• Pumps
• Rigging equipment
• Slide rail systems
• Utility and underground construction equipment

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is mechanically inclined, likes hands-on work, and takes pride in maintaining and preparing equipment for customers.

• Load and unload rental equipment using forklifts and material handling equipment.
• Operate both small and large forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Inspect returned rental equipment for damage, wear, or missing components.
• Clean, pressure wash, organize, and prepare equipment for the next rental.
• Perform minor maintenance and repairs on rental equipment.
• Assemble and disassemble rigging components, including installing pins and building chain assemblies.
• Assist customers and delivery drivers with loading and unloading equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard environment.
• Support inventory management and general yard operations.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

• Previous experience in equipment rental, construction, industrial distribution, utility work, rigging, or heavy equipment operations.
• Forklift experience operating both small and large-capacity forklifts.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to learn specialized rental equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attendance and reliability.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move heavy materials throughout the day.
• Valid driver's license.
