Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois School Psychologist license (IL Psych License)
• PEL (Professional Educator License) required
• Masters or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
• Familiarity with the school-based multidisciplinary team process
• Strong assessment, consultation, and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and confidentiality

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments and interpret results
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop effective interventions and support plans
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services as needed
• Consult with staff on behavioral strategies, social-emotional supports, and evidence-based practices
• Document and maintain accurate records in accordance with district, state, and federal requirements
