Enthusiastic and experienced Special Education professionals have an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in classrooms while working with a dedicated student population. This full-time, onsite contract role runs from September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027, and requires passionate educators who thrive in dynamic educational settings.

There are five positions available to address specific needs:
  • Behavior Classrooms (Elementary):
    Ideal for educators with strong backgrounds managing behaviors such as physical aggression or elopement. Depth of experience with young children and developing positive behavioral supports is essential.
  • High Volume LRC (Learning Resource Classroom):
    Candidates should be well-versed in efficiently handling large caseloads (average of 43 students), supporting students with diverse learning needs, and managing educational plans in a resource-rich environment.
Qualifications and

Experience:
  • Current and active Special Education certification/license in Oregon
  • Demonstrated expertise in either behavioral elementary classrooms or high-volume LRC settings
  • Proven experience in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
  • Three most recent supervisor references (contact information required for consideration-no exceptions)
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement targeted, engaging instruction tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with students, family members, and colleagues to ensure positive learning outcomes
  • Engage proactively in student progress monitoring, behavioral interventions, and documentation
  • Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom culture
  • Uphold compliance with state educational policies and procedures
