Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students with diverse learning needs in a vibrant school setting. Multiple full-time Special Education teaching positions are available for immediate start through June 5, 2026. These onsite roles offer a chance to make a lasting impact while collaborating with dedicated assistants and multidisciplinary teams. You'll find supportive environments equipped to address behavioral, ASD, and communication needs at both elementary and middle school levels.

Openings include:
  • 2 Elementary Developmental classrooms (15 students each; 6 assistants; focus on behavioral, ASD, and communication needs)
  • 1 Elementary Behavior (Grades 3-5; 16 students; 5 assistants)
  • 1 Middle School Resource (40 students; 2 shared assistants)
  • 1 Elementary Resource (across 2 close sites; 35 students; 1 assistant per building)
  • 1 Middle School Behavior (15 students; 5 assistants)
What we're looking for:
  • Current and valid Oregon Special Education teaching certification/license
  • Experience in special education environments (developmental, behavior, ASD, resource preferred)
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
  • Able to work fully onsite, full-time (37.5 hours/week)
  • Capacity to adapt to the unique needs of each class and support staff effectively
  • Ready access to contact information for your most recent supervisor reference
Key responsibilities include:
  • Delivering individualized and group instruction tailored to students' IEP goals
  • Collaborating with assistants and related service providers
  • Collecting and reporting on student data and progress
  • Creating and maintaining a safe, encouraging learning space
  • Active participation in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and staff meetings
