K-8 Substitute Teacher
MRA is seeking reliable, caring, and adaptable K-8 Substitute Teachers to join our team. Substitutes play a crucial role in ensuring continuity of learning when classroom teachers are absent. We are looking for individuals who enjoy working with students, can maintain a positive and structured classroom environment, and are committed to supporting our school's mission and expectations.
Responsibilities:- Follow the teacher's lesson plans to provide instruction and supervision
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment
- Communicate effectively with students and staff
- Uphold school policies, routines, and expectations
- Report any concerns or incidents to school administration
- Bachelor's Degree or higher and TSPC Substitute License
- Experience working with children or in educational settings
- Dependability, professionalism, and strong communication skills
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt as needed
- Must pass required background checks
