As a substitute instructional assistant, you will support teachers and students by providing classroom instructional support, delivering effective and engaging instruction developed by classroom teachers, and providing safety and supervision during arrival and departure, lunch, and recess.

You will exercise effective judgment and sound decision‑making while sharing the district’s vision that every student has the opportunity and access to explore and pursue their own aspirations.

In this position you can work as few or as many days as you like. Substituting offers you the opportunity to try out all six schools, both elementary and secondary, to determine which one provides the best fit for you.

Required:

Ethical, committed, and supportive assistants who understand the impact they have on student success. Demonstrated ability to provide classroom instructional support, deliver engaging instruction, supervise students, and exercise sound judgment.
