GL Accountant

Due to the development of John Deere Polska Business Service Center in Poznań we are currently seeking candidates for the position of GL Accountant.

• Perform daily and monthly general ledger accounting tasks, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis with focus on fixed assets and leasing processes.
• Collaborate with the Team and with various business partners to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
• Preparing month-end and year-end closings.
• Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Support the implementation of innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Finance (AP, AR or GL).
• University degree preferably in Finance/Accounting or similar.
• Practical knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills.
• English B2, both written and verbal.
• Ability to plan and execute tasks independently.
• Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented approach.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Good command of French language will be a great advantage.
• Knowledge of US GAAP.
