Pay or shift range: $17 to $19 per hour. The estimated range is the budgeted amount for this position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Position Overview

Support our healthcare partners & help them thrive at Meduit! The Support Specialist is an essential part of our team. In this role, you will help support the Collectors and Leaders by processing and handling time‑sensitive documents and effectively maintaining office inventory. Attention to detail is crucial and above‑average data entry skills is a must.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Client Services team to ensure that the Company is meeting deadlines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate, validate, and deliver consumer specific requests (example: analyzing consumer mail or itemised billings for accuracy and need).
  • Accurately process all internal correspondence, account updates, and placement files in a timely fashion and be able to manage multiple deadlines at the same time.
  • Assist with the development of tools that contribute to the efficiency and productivity of the entire Support Service team.
  • Provide summary communications to the Manager of Client Services.
  • Mail & correspondence review.
  • Analyse accounts to resolve balance discrepancies.
  • Post payments and adjustments.
  • Process itemised bills from clients.
  • Verify insurance eligibility.
  • Inspect bankruptcy notifications.
  • Review itemised statements from client.
  • Review settlement offers for accuracies.
  • Exceptional professionalism, confidentiality, and service to customers.
  • Superb communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as a team member.
  • Ability to identify and solve problems.
  • Exceptional organisational, time‑management, and planning skills.
  • Ability to adjust to changing agency priorities.
  • Knowledge of E‑Oscar to be able to verify credit disputes.
  • Knowledge of credit reporting process.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance and FDCPA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with the Collection Industry, HIPAA, and FDCPA is a plus.
Additional Information
  • Pay: $17–$19 per hour.
  • Schedule:

    First Shift, Monday – Friday.
  • Location:

    Remote, United States.
  • Anticipated start date: 06/08/2026.
  • Background check:
    As a condition of employment, a pre‑employment background check will be conducted.
