Job Overview

Goodyear operates more than 580 tire and auto service centers nationwide, offering a fun, fast‑paced work environment with competitive base pay. As an Entry Level Automotive Technician you will learn basic automotive services while delivering outstanding customer service. No prior experience is required; thorough training will be provided.

Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $15.00‑$20.00 per hour, varying by location and experience. Benefits may include medical, prescription, dental, vision, 401(k), life insurance, disability, tuition assistance, sick and vacation time, and tire discounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mount and balance tires, perform oil changes, and conduct additional automotive preventative maintenance.
  • Apply safe and effective automotive service techniques under the guidance of mid and senior level technicians.
  • Deliver excellent customer service, including clear communication about vehicle service and maintaining strict adherence to company policy on vehicle care and operation.
  • Support teamwork to meet guest expectations and promote efficient service delivery.
  • Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, and squatting as required by duties.
Shift Information

Stores may operate 7 days a week, including weekends and some holidays. Shift schedules will be determined based on location needs.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with a commitment to learning new automotive technologies.
  • Adherence to established safety policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training preferred.
