The City of Moline is seeking a Mechanic I to diagnose, maintain, and repair a broad fleet of vehicles and equipment, from cars to heavy‑duty units. You will perform preventive maintenance, assist senior mechanics, and document work in the fleet management system.
Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, formal automotive training, and 2+ years of repair experience; CDL‑B and DOT safety tester certifications are preferred or obtainable within stated timelines.
