- Responsibilities:
Support the Superintendent in overseeing day-to-day field operations across all trades, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to specification. - Read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and project specifications to coordinate and direct daily field activities.
- Assist in planning and scheduling work sequences, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and self-perform crews to maintain project momentum.
- Monitor and enforce safety protocols and company standards on site at all times.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve field issues quickly and keep work moving.
- Track crew productivity, material deliveries, and daily progress; report updates and flag risks or schedule impacts early.
- Mentor and develop craft workers and foremen, fostering a culture of quality and accountability on the job site.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure all work meets project specifications and company standards.
- 5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction, with at least 2 years in a foreman or supervisory role.
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors in a fast-paced field environment.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications across multiple disciplines.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop field teams.
- Solid understanding of construction safety standards and OSHA requirements.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience on industrial, process, or heavy commercial projects is a strong asset.
