Overview
Studio 483 Architects is seeking an experienced Licensed Architect with 10+ years relevant experience to serve as a Project Architect, leading team members across all disciplines. Excellence in communication skills and client and consultant interactions is required. Possess a strong portfolio of previous projects showing creativity, problem solving, and leadership.
Studio 483 is an architecture and interior design firm with nearly 40 years of architectural expertise, and an architectural lineage dating back to 1871. - Work collaboratively with project leadership and team members across all disciplines.
- Client and consultant interactions.
- Produce accurate technical and contract documentation.
- Create inspired design solutions in a collaborative environment.
- A solid foundation in architectural practice and design capability.
- Experience being involved in various aspects of projects, including project coordination, documentation, and ensuring alignment with project goals and schedules.
- Excellent presentation, writing, and verbal communication skills are advantageous to this position.
- Ability to contribute to architectural design process, supporting development of concepts and translating ideas into design solutions.
- Technical knowledge in architectural design principles, building codes, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Suite necessary. Experience with Sketch Up and Enscape is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work as a team, contributing to a cohesive and effective work environment.
- People skills are essential in this position, as you will participate in client meetings, contribute to design discussions, and assist in maintaining positive client relationships throughout the project phases. You will also interface with contractors and consultants as a representative of Studio 483.
- Detail-oriented, especially in maintaining project documentation, reports, and presentations. You will be keeping records and responsible for updating clients and project managers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Accredited undergraduate or master s degree in Architecture
- 5+ years of professional experience
- Architecture License
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong portfolio of previous projects
