Job Description:

The Assistant Professor of Economics teaching responsibilities include undergraduate and graduate teaching in traditional and distance learning formats. A minimum teaching load of 3/3 is required. Primary teaching responsibilities will be
1) Economics for managers and Applied Business Forecasting and Planning (supporting the MBA program),
2) Principles of Microeconomics, and
3) undergraduate Economic Problem Solving. Service to the School and WIU community is required of all faculty, including recruitment and retention initiatives.

APPOINTMENT:
March 1, 2026

RANK & SALARY:
Assistant Professor. Tenure-track. $8,795 per month, 9-month appointment.

For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body).
