General Information & Responsibilities
Black Hawk College seeks adjunct/part-time instructors for the Nursing Assistant Program. Classes are available at the QC Campus in Moline, East Campus in Galva, and local area clinical sites.
Description of Duties- Prepare appropriate syllabi and develop lectures, discussions, and other presentations or activities to enhance the students' educational experience.
- Develop and execute appropriate methods of evaluating student performance.
- Secure and maintain the equipment and other instructional materials essential to the presentation of classroom material.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing plus completion of the “Train-the-trainer” course.
- Current Illinois RN license.
- Oral English proficiency required.

Minimum starting pay for adjunct faculty (as of Fall 2024):
- Less than a Master's Degree: $693.36 per equated hour
- Master's Degree: $808.92 per equated hour
- Doctorate: $866.70 per equated hour
