Instructor of Speech Pathology and Audiology​/Clinical Supervisor

Position Overview

Faculty position in the Department of Speech Pathology and Audiology at Western Illinois University, Macomb, IL. Appointment begins August 20, 2026. 9‑month, 100% non‑tenure track.

• Supervise graduate and undergraduate students completing on‑campus and off‑campus clinical practicum.
• Serve on departmental committees and other duties as assigned.
• Teach graduate and undergraduate courses within the instructor’s area of expertise.
• Supervise clinical evaluations of adults and children at the on‑campus clinic and at student school placements.

• Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology, CCC‑SLP, Illinois State License or eligibility for licensure (IDFPR SLP License).
• At least five years of clinical experience.
• Experience in school and medical settings (preferred).
• Experience supervising students or clinical fellowships (preferred).

9‑month, 100% non‑tenure track appointment. Salary range $4,468 – $6,044 per month, negotiable and commensurate with experience.
