General Information & Responsibilities
Provides necessary instruction and guidance in General Education Development courses to prepare students to pass exams in Language Arts, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies and Constitution.
Description of DutiesDevelop individualized educational plan for each student based on current skills and academic goals. Provide individualized and group instruction necessary to prepare students for GED tests.
Education & ExperienceBachelors' degree required.
Supplemental InformationMost classes held on a morning (9:00 – noon, Monday – Friday or evening (5:30-8:00 p.m. Monday – Thursday schedule. Bachelor's candidates start at $21.18/hour. Master's candidates at $24.71/hour. Black Hawk College does not sponsor employment visas. Candidates hired for faculty positions at Black Hawk College are required to submit official transcripts within three weeks of hire date.
